Why choose Smart Habitat?
Smart Habitat founder, Paul, knows first-hand what it’s like integrating smart home technology into a building project, having designed a smart ecosystem for his own home renovation.
During his renovation journey, Paul discovered there were too many home automation products with varying standards and integration requirements, but not enough impartial, expert support to simplify and demystify choices for the end-user.
This experience was the inspiration for Smart Habitat.
As a homeowner, Paul understands how the process and requirements impact decisions and outcomes. As a qualified and practising Electrical Engineer & Technology Strategist, he decodes jargon and facilitates desired user experience while assessing energy utilisation and home automation solutions. The balance of useability, cost, capability and availability are key to achieve a streamlined integration.
Paul combines his expertise with his passion for matching your lifestyle requirements to the most suitable, easy-to-use technology available.
Smart Habitat stays up to date with new technology trends, products and applications, with a special interest in seamless technology integration and water/energy efficiency.

“We engaged Smart Habitat to provide implementation strategy for an off-grid, sustainable luxury home.
We liked the style of the report providing “call out” sections with clear actions that we could tick-off when done. This avoided the need to distill the recommendations into action….”
